Precisions

Apart from production, which may have a 24/7 availability requirement, other environments (tests, integration, acceptance) are most often linked to human operations subject to restricted time slots, or even to limited periods. When the environments are not in use, they should be inactive in order to reduce the energy consumption of these configurations. They should be decommissioned when no further use is planned over a long period.
